Oke Epia, the Executive Director of OrderPaper Nigeria has promised to partner with the Management of Fiscal Responsibility Commission in the Strategic engagements to actualize the amendments of Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2007.
The Editor- in- Chief/ CEO of OrderPaper Nigeria stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Barrister Victor Muruako, the Acting Chairman, FiscalResponsibility Responsibility Commission in his office today. He informed the Acting Chairman that the essence of his visit was to identify with his struggle and commitments to repositioning the Commission in order to achieve the mandates as encapsulated under the Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2007.
Mr. Oke particularly pledged his support and solidarity in the Commission’s efforts to continue to push for the amendment of the Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2007 which is presently at the Senated .
He promised to bring in his media outfits, experience and network to engage the parliament.
He also commended Barrister Muruako’s resilience in his efforts to continue to pursue issues of transparency and accountability in the face of challenges facing the Commission.
In his response, Barrister Victor Muruako called upon him to ensure that issues on the Commission are always in the media because there is great need for media visibility in and around the Commission at this point in time.
