THE EMERGENCY CRISIS AND DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE EDO 2024

The Institute held a two day event called 5th Annual Hybrid Nigeria Special Emergency Preparedness Simulation Week and Exhibition on 3-4 July 2024.

The theme of the event was “Be Prepared, Know your Risk”.
The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla was represented by the Flag Officer Commanding Logistics Command, Rear Admiral Chijoke Onyemaobi who delivered good will message of the CNS to the Institution on behalf of the Nigerian Navy.

The CNS acknowledged the Institution’s determination towards risk management and safety within Nigeria. He implored the Institute to let the commendations and achievements be a spring board for more success towards attainment of national security.


The CNS further urged the Institute to remain focused and determined while ensuring that all stakeholders of risk and disaster management carry out their roles effectively to mitigate and avert unforeseen risk. #NigerianNavy #OnwardTogether
