General Nafiu Visits Hospitalised Corps Member In Yola.

The Director General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu has commiserated with Corps Member Idowu Babatunde Solomon AD/25A/0798 who was on admission at the Mobibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola.

Solomon, who hails from Offa in Kwara and deployed to Adamawa State was diagnosed with acute appendicitis at the Orientation Camp Clinic, but later had a successful surgery at the hospital.

Said During his visit, General Nafiu expressed gratitude to God for the safe surgery and wished the Corps Member speedy recovery.

He lauded the medical team that operated on the Corps Member for their professionalism in managing the situation.

The DG also commended the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Prof. Adamu Bakari for his sterling leadership qualities including his management staff.

Prof. Bakari appreciated the Director General for visiting the Corps Member and promised that he would be given the maximum healthcare he deserves in order to get back on his feet.

In his response, Corps Member Idowu Babatunde Solomon, a graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, expressed gratitude to the Director General for the visit, likewise the NYSC Adamawa State Coordinator, Mrs Caroline Osoroh Chinedu for her motherly care and also the hospital management for their prompt and effective service delivery.
