The Theatre Commander of Operation HADIN KAI conducted a key operational visit to Adamawa State.
The visit lasted three days, from April 30 to May 2, 2026.
It focused on assessing readiness within Sector 4’s area of responsibility.

Adamawa State Government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting military operations.
The Deputy Governor represented the state leadership during the engagement.
She praised the military for sustaining security despite recent challenges.
The state pledged continued investment in security infrastructure and technology.
Community actors like vigilantes and hunters were recognized as vital partners.
The Theatre Commander highlighted the importance of collaboration and intelligence.
Sector 4 was established in August 2025 to bridge security gaps.
It covers 10 local government areas with complex terrain.
A multi-layered approach combining troops, technology, and community support is in use.
Additional troops and special forces have been deployed to strengthen operations.
New military formations have also been approved to boost presence.
The Commander stressed the need for improved surveillance and rapid response systems.
Troops and local security groups were urged to remain highly vigilant.
Concerns were raised about terrorists shifting into new areas due to ongoing offensives.
The visit concluded with inspections, briefings, and renewed commitment to lasting peace.
