The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Corps Members on the successful completion of their mandatory one-year national service, commending their commitment to national development.
In a farewell message, the DG expressed appreciation for the corps members’ dedication, patriotism, and valuable contributions to their various Places of Primary Assignment, noting that their service positively impacted communities across Nigeria.
According to a statement signed by Caroline Embu, Director, Information and Public Relations said that the NYSC leadership praised the corps members for demonstrating discipline, diligence, and selfless service throughout the service year, describing their efforts as a true reflection of the Scheme’s nation-building objectives.
As the outgoing corps members prepare for the next stage of their lives, the Director General encouraged them to uphold the values of discipline, unity, integrity, and patriotism cultivated during their service year.
The DG urged them to remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC by maintaining exemplary conduct and promoting the ideals of the Scheme wherever they find themselves.
The farewell message also highlighted the importance of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme, encouraging the corps members to leverage the knowledge and practical skills acquired to become successful entrepreneurs and job creators.
The Director General stressed that entrepreneurship remains a viable pathway to self-reliance and economic growth, urging the graduates to contribute meaningfully to national development through innovation and enterprise.
